whoops! it's been five whole days!

i really thought it had been only two or three days since i last posted, so i guess that shows how my sense of time has been lately! that's fine. i don't think blogging every day is specifically important to me (or sustainable, for that matter), but i do think once every few days/once a week would work well.

i've been a bit extra distracted this week because of agdq, which i've been aware of for a while but never watched before. for some reason this year i decided to actually look it up and it's been pretty enjoyable! i've missed a lot of it, which is okay, since they post the streams some time after they're completed. actually, this is essential to me, because i was most emotionally invested in horror block and that runs overnight. i did stay up really late watching to the end of the resident evil 2 run but i REALLY wanted to see fatal frame II played and that was at like. six a.m., i think? so i wasn't staying up for that and i wasn't waking up for that.

speedruns aren't something i've really watched before and i don't think agdq is going to cause me to watch them often, but i like it for a charity event. and i'm still figuring out what kind of games i like watching played.

more importantly than all that, though! i got to see two of my irls this week :) it's not super hard to see one of them (my second time getting pizza with him and his girlfriend in the past month, month and a half?), but the other is one of my best friends and it's literally SO hard to pin her down to spend time with her because of her schedule! but we got lunch today and we're planning to go to the d.c. area next week before the semester starts <3 because after that... god. i really feel like i'll be lucky if i get to see her once a month. her program's really rough and on top of that she's type of person that always takes on waaaay too much, which gets worrying sometimes.
